Questions

Before you install

Does it need Microsoft Graph permissions?

No. Profile photos are read through SharePoint's own user photo service, so there is nothing for an admin to approve.

Can one message come from two people?

Yes. Pick several users and each gets their own photo, name and title stacked on the left.

Is this web part really free?

Yes. Zen Systems provides Zen Message Card free of charge to download and use in your organisation's SharePoint Online tenant.

Does it work with SharePoint Server on-premises?

It is built for SharePoint Online in Microsoft 365. We also build web parts for SharePoint Server Subscription Edition, 2019 and 2016; contact us if you need an on-premises version.

Can you customise it for our intranet?

Yes. We can adapt the design, add fields or build a fully custom version as part of our SPFx development service.

Need a custom web part?

We build SPFx web parts and extensions for SharePoint Online, and web parts, master pages and page layouts for SharePoint Server Subscription Edition, 2019 and 2016. Tell us what you need and we will reply within one business day.
